Notifications
ProAudits tries hard not to be noisy. You see notifications only for the things that need your attention: a task assigned to you, an audit scheduled on your calendar, a finding waiting for your sign-off, a feedback request needing a reply.
The bell
The bell icon in the top bar lights up when you have something new. Click it to open the notifications panel.

A typical notification has:
- An icon showing the type (task, audit, action plan, feedback).
- A title explaining what happened.
- A timestamp ("3 minutes ago", "Yesterday").
- An avatar of the person who triggered it, when relevant.
Clicking an item navigates you to whatever it is about — the audit page, the action plan card, the task drawer — and quietly marks it read.
Kinds of notifications
| Type | When you get one |
|---|---|
| Task assigned | Someone gives you a new task. |
| Task due soon | A task you own is due in the next 24 hours. |
| Audit scheduled | A new audit shows up on your calendar. |
| Audit completed | An audit you scheduled has been finished. |
| Issue picked up | An issue you raised has been added to the action plan. |
| Action approved | A card you finished has been approved. |
| Feedback requested | Someone wants your reply on a finding. |
| New comment | Someone replied to your comment on an audit. |
Reading and clearing
- Click a notification to open it. It greys out, but stays in the list for the day so you can come back to it.
- Mark all as read clears the unread count without dismissing anything.
There is no manual "delete" — notifications fade out of the list automatically after a few days.
Email and SMS
By default, ProAudits sends notifications only inside the app. Your administrator can flip on email digests or SMS alerts for the high-priority types — overdue tasks, scheduled audits, urgent feedback requests — from your account settings.
Quiet by default
ProAudits is designed to not be a constant interruption. If you want fewer notifications, ask your administrator to narrow the rules — there is no need to suffer through noise that doesn't help you.
